Want to help us?

There are many things you can do to help us:

  • become a volunteer in one of our projects. Go to „actions/projects” if you want to know which of our projects we need volunteers for. Go to „FAQ” if you want to know what are the requirements that the volunteers have to meet. A questionnaire toghether with a list of actions in Poznań that you can take part in, can be found at „volunteers-questionnaire”. We are also searching for volunteers in other cities and towns, mainly to  get our activities going. Details will be available soon
  • organise a meeting, a discussion or screen a film in your city or local community (district, school, etc.). We will prepare posters, bring a film or present a lecture at our own expense. However, you will have to promote the meeting yourself (e.g by coping and distributing posters) and provide a room with an OHP and a computer
  • distribute „Alterglobal”, a free magazine cooperating with our Association. However, as the number of cities and towns grows, we will have to ask you to reimburse us for the delivery costs. You can also send „Alterglobal” e-zine to your friends
  • coordinate our actions in your city/local commnunity. At the beginning of your activity we will help you by providing materials (promotional metarials such as brochures, posters, leaflets, films you can screen, etc) and training (workshops and trainings in Poznań on subjects such as organising legal gatherings, cooperating with media, drafting projects and organising actions)
  • if you really do not have time (however, think hard, whether you really do not have it or are you simply distracted by things which pale into insignificance compared to starvation) you can support us financially- the costs of posters, rent for offices, bookkeeping and transport are enormous. We need all the help, however small. What we mostly hope for is steady donations, even small ones, which can be made to the bank account no. 42 1020 4027 0000 1802 0358 6633. This will allow us to plan our expenditures with more certainty
